As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer, you'll develop data models, manage the data platform, mentor juniors, and ensure data quality for decision making.
At Fullscript, we’re not just changing healthcare—we’re making it whole.
We help 100,000+ healthcare practitioners support 10 million patients with a platform that delivers evidence-based health solutions, diagnostic support, and practitioner tools—all in one place.
Healthcare today is disconnected. We’re fixing that. Fullscript makes it easier for practitioners to treat the whole person, not just symptoms, so patients get the support they need—when they need it.
We’re building a better way—one where healthcare is connected, complete, and built for impact.
We’re seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer for our team. The Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team builds core data models that are used to drive effective planning and decision making across the company. We will be continuing to invest in this team in the coming years to make our data more accessible to internal teams, and to leverage it within our applications to provide practitioners and patients with data-informed experiences.
As Senior Data Analytics Engineer, you will be building the foundational data models, and partnering with other groups in the company to understand stakeholder needs and help with adoption. You will also be helping the EDW team with its other key responsibility - managing the operation of our data platform that is used by analytics engineers, data scientists, and business users throughout the company.
What you'll do:
- Work cross-functionally to help define, build, and deploy our Enterprise Data Warehouse to serve reporting and analytical needs across Fullscript.
- Work with Fullscript’s engineering team and other business stakeholders to define and implement our Customer Data Platform (CDP), which uses data from a variety of sources to power decision making about customer acquisition and the customer journey.
- Write data transformation code in ELT pipelines, and work with data delivery tools to ensure the data arrives where it is needed to support this decision making.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the team, and provide guidance and influence to all practitioners of the Analytics Engineering craft throughout the company.
- Ensure data models are properly tested and optimized for scalability and performance.
- Create and maintain data documentation and definitions.
What you bring to the table:
- 5+ years in Data Analytics and/or Data Engineering, implementing ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with dbt (data build tool) for implementing transformation stages.
- Experience working with Cloud Data Warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling, schema design, and optimization techniques.
- Proven experience maintaining data transformation pipelines, ensuring data availability and quality, meeting SLAs, and communicating status to downstream consumers.
- Deep understanding of data engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD methodologies.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Learning mindset, with a keen interest in exploring new technologies and methodologies.
- Experience with a Customer Data Platform (CDP).
- Experience with ops practices and tools for automated deployment, CI pipeline definition, and infrastructure management.
- Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role in a data engineering team.
- A cover letter explaining why analytics engineering is of special interest to you.
Bonus if you have:
What we can offer you:
- Flexible PTO & competitive pay—rest fuels performance.
- RRSP match & stock options—invest in your future.
- Customizable benefits—flexible coverage, paramedical services, and an HSA.
- Fullscript discounts—save on wellness products.
- Continuous learning—training budget + company-wide initiatives.
- Wherever You Work Well—hybrid and remote flexibility.
