Opportunity (Part-Time): Senior Cyber Workforce Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Bottom Line Up Front:
Hoplite Group is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Workforce (SME) to support a U.S. Government Institutional capacity-building program focused on developing and implementing a strategic cyber workforce management plan in INDOPACOM.

Location: Remote support (CONUS) and forward engagements (OCONUS) as part of a U.S. Government team.
Level of Effort:
  • Pre-Engagement: Approximately 20 hours/month.
  • Engagement: Approximately 80 hours/month during engagement months.
  • Post-Engagement: Support as needed.

Availability: Immediate
Objective:
To support the development and implementation of a Strategic Cyber Workforce Management Strategy and a Defensive Cyber Operations Plan for Resilience and Mission Assurance.

SME Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in human resource management, organizational development, organizational psychology, or business administration (with focus on HR or strategy).
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and applications, performance management systems and operations. INDOPACOM experience is desirable
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Ability to analyze workforce needs, develop strategic workforce plans, and forecast future skill requirements;       
  • Experience in building and managing a cybersecurity workforce within a government or military context. (O-5/O-6 or unique E-9 experience)
  • Experience in developing effective recruitment strategies, sourcing cybersecurity talent, compensation/benefits, and conducting interviews.
  • 5–7 years of experience in a combination of cybersecurity and human resource roles.
  • U.S. Secret Security Clearance required
