The Custom Integrations Consultant plays a key role in designing, developing, and implementing automated workflows and integrations across a wide variety of financial, ERP, and business systems. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical execution—translating client requirements into reliable, scalable integration solutions.

As part of the Custom Integrations team, you will collaborate with clients, internal teams, and technology partners to design, build, and test custom integrations using APIs, middleware, and iPaaS tools.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design & Development:

    • Build and maintain integrations and automations using code, APIs, and iPaaS tools

    • Develop reusable code and workflows that adhere to best practices and client requirements.

  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation:

    • Partner with business stakeholders to capture integration requirements and document business logic.

    • Translate business processes into detailed technical requirements and solution design documentation.

    • Create data mapping, transformation, and workflow diagrams to support integration design.

  • Testing & Validation:

    • Use tools like Postman (or similar) for API testing, validation, and troubleshooting.

    • Conduct end-to-end testing of integrations, including unit, system, and user acceptance testing.

  • Client Engagement:

    • Work directly with clients to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.

    • Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Collaboration & Support:

    • Work both independently and as part of a team on multiple concurrent projects.

    • Provide ongoing support for deployed integrations, including troubleshooting, enhancements, and performance optimization.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in systems integration, automation, or application development.

  • Hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms (e.g., Scribe, Boomi, Workato, Celigo, or similar).

  • Proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and API-based integrations.

  • Familiarity with SQL, data mapping, and ETL concepts.

  • Experience using Postman or similar tools for API testing and validation.

  • Strong documentation skills, including ability to write clear functional and technical specifications.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and thrive in a client-facing environment.

  • Flexibility to work from home while collaborating in person half the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with financial or ERP systems (e.g., Intacct, Dynamics GP, Workday, Salesforce, NetSuite).

  • Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as C#, Python, or JavaScript.

  • Familiarity with Agile or iterative project methodologies.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Colorado residents, the compensation range for this position: $106,900 - $125,800. For Washington residents, Illinois residents, New York residents, and Southern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $117,600 - $130,000. For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $123,000 - $130,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
