Serious Work. Real Leadership. A Runway to Partnership.

You’ve built the experience. You know how to manage a case, command a courtroom, earn a client’s trust, and deliver when the stakes are high.

Now, what do you want the next chapter of your career to look like?

Tyson & Mendes is growing our Denver team, and we’re looking for an accomplished insurance defense litigator with 8+ years of experience who is ready for more. More leadership, more sophisticated work, greater autonomy, and a rapid pathway toward partnership.

This isn’t simply another Senior Counsel position. It’s an opportunity for an experienced attorney who wants the resources and reach of a national firm without losing the connection and entrepreneurial feel of a smaller office.

The Best of Both Worlds

Our Denver office offers something special: the feel of a boutique practice backed by the operational strength, resources, technology, and infrastructure of a national litigation firm.

You’ll report to an accomplished Regional Managing Partner who believes in mentoring talented attorneys, not micromanaging them. You'll have the support you need, the autonomy you've earned, and an opportunity to become an important part of the team's continued growth.

Serious Work for Serious Attorneys

We handle sophisticated, high-value litigation where strategy matters.

Our attorneys aren't simply processing files. They're defending significant cases, advising clients through complex risk, developing winning strategies, and putting our nationally recognized Nuclear Verdicts® defense methodologies into practice.

Through our APEX methodology, Trial Academy, and proven approach to stopping Nuclear Verdicts®, we've built a litigation culture centered around preparation, strategy, collaboration, and winning.

If you love the intellectual challenge of a difficult case and want meaningful opportunities to lead; you'll find them here.

Built for the Future of Legal Practice

We believe great lawyers should have great tools.

Tyson & Mendes continues to invest heavily in state-of-the-art technology, AI-enabled legal resources, modern case-management systems, and innovative billing technology designed to help attorneys capture their time more effectively and reduce administrative friction.

We're not waiting to see how technology changes the practice of law. We're actively building for it.

Your Next Step Could Be Partnership

For the right Senior Counsel candidate, we're looking beyond filling a position.

We're looking for someone with the leadership ability, litigation judgment, trial experience, and drive to become part of the future leadership of our firm.

If you've spent your career building the skills and reputation to operate at a high level, we want to give you the runway to use them.

8+ years of insurance defense experience and an active Colorado Bar license are required. Strong trial experience and demonstrated leadership are highly valued.

Ready for What's Next?

You don't need another job.

You need the right work, leadership, resources, technology, opportunity—and runway.

If you're ready to do serious work with a forward-thinking firm and explore a path toward partnership, we'd like to meet you.

Join Tyson & Mendes. Your next chapter could be your biggest yet.
