Job Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Core Testing Engineer sought by DISH Wireless LLC in Littleton, CO.
Collaborate with Core/IMS Network vendors and Core testing tool vendors to build Core lab (private and public cloud). Integrate and Deploy core network/IMS capabilities in the Lab, working both in an individual and team capacity. Review/interpret requirements and translate them into Systems specifications/requirements (end-to-end design/Call flows/Systems architecture/Interface definition). Provide inputs and support to the Testing team in creating/executing test plans. Provide leadership in the Core Testing areas. Facilitate live troubleshooting of lab/production network issues using overall systems, testing tools, UE, and logs. Assist in debugging and identifying root cases for the issues/defects experiences in lab or production environments and document them accordingly in JIRA systems. Contribute to Test Automation efforts, by writing testing scripts for the Testing tools (Spirent Velocity, Keysight).
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or closely related field. 3 years of work experience in job offered or similar role. Also requires 3 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):

• 4G EPC/5GC core, CUPS, virtualized network Functions
• Core Network architecture (3GPP standards)
• SMF/UPF/AMF/NRF/NSSF/PCF/UDM/AUSF/MME, SAEGW, SPGW, or ePDG, and IMS
• 3GPP Core Networks (EPC,5GC) and IMS
• VoNR, ViNR, inter-carrier roaming (n14, N26), EPS fallback, SMS, MMS, E911
• Kubernetes, AWS, and Core Network Functions (NF's -VNF/CNF)
• Scripting and developing test automation
• KPI's/metrics - such as latency/throughput considerations and issues from core cloud deployment to Data Center locations
• Knowledge of IP networking and cloud technologies (Kubernetes)
• UE simulators, UE debuggers, Load/Traffic generators, packet core simulators

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $132,600.00/Year
