Praytell is an integrated marketing and creative communications agency made by teams with strategic minds and spirited hearts. We create timely, integrated, headline-worthy campaigns across social, earned, digital and more. And we’ve picked up some pretty cool awards along the way, like PRWeek’s Best Place to Work (8x so far!), Agency of the Year and even a few your mom would recognize, even if she doesn’t fully get what you do for a living. Best of all, we’ve got a team of the smartest, kindest, most curious and supportive humans on the planet.

And guess what? There’s an empty seat here with your name on it. If you're looking for an opportunity to join an ambitious team that is singularly focused on doing great work with great people, we'd love to hear from you!

Overview:

We’re looking for a Senior Content Strategist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Associate Director, Content Strategy, and our cross-functional teams to bring bold, social-first ideas to life. You’ll help shape storytelling across platforms, collaborate with our creator and influencer team, and translate cultural and consumer insights into content that connects.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role, perfect for a content ace who’s passionate about the intersection of culture, creativity, and data, and eager to hone their strategic voice. If you’re chronically online, love the fast-moving world of social, and want to help brands engage in authentic, impactful ways, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

  • Own Client Strategy: Lead content and channel strategy for select accounts, from owning content calendars and creative briefings to programming and optimizations, ensuring every aspect ladders up to client goals.
  • Inspire Creative: Translate cultural trends, consumer insights, and performance data into clear, sharp briefs that fuel standout creative work.
  • Drive Optimization: Review and analyze monthly and campaign-level social performance data to develop insights and actionable recommendations that keep content fresh and effective.
  • Spot What’s Next: Stay plugged into platforms, culture, and consumer sentiment to identify real-time opportunities where brands can show up authentically.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Analytics, Creative, Influencer, PR, and Account teams to connect the dots between learnings, KPIs, and integrated brand storytelling.
  • Lead Social Listening: Conduct ongoing social listening and competitive scanning to inform POVs, campaign planning, and rapid-response opportunities.
  • Champion Best Practices: Track innovations across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Pinterest, Twitch, and beyond, shaping platform-native strategies, testing formats, and driving engagement.
  • Elevate the Team: Contribute to playbooks, POVs, and trainings that help the team level up on emerging formats, cultural shifts, and best practices.

Experience:

  • 4-5 years of social media or content strategy experience, ideally at a digital/social agency or in-house content studio.
  • Proven success leading content calendars, writing social briefs, and guiding influencer or creator-driven campaigns.
  • Deep fluency in social platforms, especially short-form video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) and a knack for creator-led storytelling.
  • Skilled at partnering with analytics teams to interpret social performance metrics and turn them into optimization strategies.
  • Proven ability to connect emerging cultural trends and platform behaviors to brand narratives and content strategy.
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally under senior leadership, while balancing independent account work
  • Curiosity and working knowledge of how new communities and platforms (Reddit, Twitch, WhatsApp, etc.) are shaping consumer engagement.
  • Strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, idea-driven, and collaborative environment.
  • A passion for storytelling at the intersection of culture, creativity, and community.

You’re A Great Fit If You...

  • Are plugged into digital culture and can translate memes and moments into strategic opportunities.
  • Love writing and editing a sharp brief as much as pitching a trending TikTok concept.
  • Enjoy working across teams and translating data into action.
  • Balance creativity with a love for organization, reporting, and insight generation.
  • Naturally collaborative and team-oriented.
