About the role...
Reporting to our Director of PR and Communications, the Senior Content Marketing Specialist will own and help evolve Bullhorn’s content and social storytelling strategy, shaping how our brand shows up across digital channels, targeting prospects, customers, and Bullhorn’s internal audience.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution, is comfortable operating with autonomy in ambiguous environments, and enjoys collaborating cross-functionally to translate business goals into impactful creative work.
A typical day will include...Owning Bullhorn's social media presence and driving online audience engagement
Planning and managing social and blog editorial calendars (research, write, edit, publish)
Building a bench of internal and external blog contributors, and managing, editing, and posting contributions
Curating, creating, and publishing digital content to tell relevant stories across marketing channels and in various formats (blog posts, social media posts, content-based graphics, customer stories and communications, eBooks, web copy, emails, newsletters, videos, etc.)
Analyzing and reporting regularly on content, social media, and blog performance
Writing, reviewing, editing, and repairing externally facing content/copy
This job might be a fit for you if you have...
2–3 years’ experience in social media and/or content marketing, ideally within a fast-growing technology organisation
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related discipline
Strong understanding of social media strategy and content marketing principles, with the ability to develop engaging, audience-led campaigns
Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to track performance, generate insights, and continuously optimise content effectiveness
Proven experience managing multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment, adapting confidently to shifting deadlines and priorities
Hands-on experience leveraging generative AI tools to enhance content workflows, including drafting, editing, research, audience analysis, and optimisation
Working knowledge of SEO, HTML, CMS platforms, social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout), and basic design tools such as Canva
Bonus points for...
Experience in B2B tech or SaaS, especially within staffing, recruiting, or enterprise software
Demonstrated experience in building online audiences and communities
You’ll be working closely with teams across Central and Eastern time zones, so availability during Central business hours is strongly preferred, and you’ll need to move quickly, iterate under tight deadlines, and submit a portfolio of writing samples and social content alongside your application.
The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual target bonus & a comprehensive benefits package.
