Role Overview

The SAP S/4HANA Finance Senior Consultant delivers and supports core finance solutions across integrated business processes. This role combines hands-on configuration, project delivery, and production support, with a focus on scalable, modern finance capabilities.

You will support end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including production settlement, asset accounting, month-end close, and profitability analysis, with integration across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and configure solutions across core S/4HANA Finance components, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and CO
• Lead or support workshops to gather requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions
• Support and optimize end-to-end finance processes, primarily R2R, with integration across P2P and O2C
• Contribute to implementations, enhancements, and rollouts in S/4HANA environments
• Participate in data migration, reconciliation, testing, and defect resolution
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in live systems, identifying root causes across integrated finance processes
• Partner with business users to improve accuracy, efficiency, and usability of financial processes
• Support ongoing system improvements and standardization initiatives

Core Qualifications

• Strong functional expertise in SAP FICO with S/4HANA Finance experience
• Hands-on configuration experience across core finance processes
• Experience supporting implementations, upgrades, or production environments
• Solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes (R2R, with P2P and O2C integration)
• Experience with financial data migration, reconciliation, and close processes
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and S/4HANA GL functionality
• Knowledge of parallel accounting and ledger configuration
• Familiarity with Fiori apps and S/4HANA finance user experience
• Exposure to Central Finance, Group Reporting, or financial consolidation
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting or planning
• Experience supporting global or multi-entity finance environments
• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated ability to expand into broader cross-functional areas
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is a plus
