As a Senior Consultant with Blue Matter, you will join a fast-growing firm with a dynamic and seasoned team of consultants and have the opportunity to help grow and build the company. Base salary range: $140,000 – $160,000 per year. Generous incentive compensation structure.

Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and synthesize federal and state health policy developments
- Develop policy-informed insights to support launch planning, pricing, contracting, and access decisions
- Execute on assigned project tasks
- Prepare materials for project meetings
- Execute analysis of primary and secondary research efforts
- Create and utilize analytical tools to support decision making
- Develop materials communicating results of analyses
- Identify key insights, recommendations, opportunities, and threats to inform corporate and commercial strategies
- Demonstrate accountability for completion of project responsibilities
- Regularly engage senior level clients
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, with working knowledge of US health policy as it affects life sciences commercialization.
- Substantive knowledge of US drug pricing and reimbursement policy, including Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) implementation, Medicare Part B and D coverage and payment, 340B, Medicaid, government pricing, and formulary dynamics.
- Familiarity with the evolving payer and PBM landscape and provider economics
- Demonstrated ability to integrate business and industry knowledge in developing creative solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Solid time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in team environment
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Advanced degree(s) (PhD, MD, MBA, or MS) with 2+ years of consulting experience or
- Undergrad degree with 3+ years of consulting experience or
- 3+ years of biopharma industry or relevant trade association experience
- Prior experience in a US health policy environment relevant to the life sciences industry
