About Nerdio

At Nerdio, our mission is to simplify the lives of IT professionals and maximize their Microsoft cloud and end user computing investments.

We support organizations of all sizes looking to deploy, manage, and cost-optimize native Microsoft technologies. We partner with Enterprises and Managed Service Providers all over the world to add value on top of their existing native Microsoft investments like Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, and Microsoft Intune.

Created in 2016, Nerdio has always taken a market-leading and collaborative approach to cloud deployment and management. In fact, our product roadmap is greatly influenced by the regular feedback we receive from having seen companies deploy AVD into production environments several thousand times using Nerdio technology.

Today, Nerdio is used in over 50 countries by more than 15,000 organizations of every size and vertical. We’re committed to delivering exceptional service and support, which starts with identifying and supporting the best staff possible.

We are a fast-moving, nimble company looking for individuals who are collaborative, empathetic, driven and who love to move at the speed of light. If you want to be part of the AVD transformation that Microsoft and Nerdio are leading, then we want to speak with you.

About the role

Nerdio is looking for an AI-forward Senior Communications Specialist to help build and amplify Nerdio's brand presence through earned media, analyst relations support, and strategic content. In this role, you'll drive our external communications programs — including media outreach, press releases, award submissions, and thought leadership — helping establish Nerdio as the authoritative voice in Microsoft EUC management. You'll work closely with brand, PMM, and executive leadership to craft and amplify stories that resonate with press, analysts, and industry audiences. You will have a data driven approach to determine what stories will allow us to stand out, while actively using AI to help scale our storytelling.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute Nerdio's PR and communications strategy and narratives, including media outreach, press releases, bylines, and contributed content placements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key technology and IT trade media, journalists, and influencers relevant to the Microsoft EUC and cloud management space.
  • Draft high-quality communications content, including press releases, executive bylines, spokesperson talking points, and media pitches.
  • Manage Nerdio's award and recognition programs, identifying opportunities, drafting submissions, and coordinating approvals.
  • Support analyst relations efforts by maintaining awareness of key analyst coverage, coordinating briefing logistics, and helping develop materials for analyst interactions.
  • Collaborate with PMM and brand on thought leadership content that positions Nerdio executives and subject matter experts in the market.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry conversations, using a data driven approach to synthesize insights for internal stakeholders and identifying proactive storytelling opportunities.
  • Leverage AI to help us understand key trends, develop our PR and comms strategy, and generate content.
  • Manage PR agency relationships and workflows as applicable.
  • Support communications around major product launches, company milestones, and events including NerdioCon.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in B2B technology PR or communications, either in-house or at an agency.
  • Exceptional writing skills across formats -- press releases, pitches, bylines, briefing documents.
  • Proven track record of earned media placements in technology trade and business press.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating analyst relations programs.
  • Strong media relations skills and an existing network of relevant technology media contacts (preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with and willingness to use AI tools to maximize impact and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cloud, SaaS, or enterprise infrastructure communications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technology ecosystem and IT/MSP audience landscape.
  • Background working with or managing external PR agencies.
  • Experience supporting executive thought leadership programs.
