Job Description

At Intelerad, we’re redefining how healthcare professionals access and interpret medical imaging—because every second counts in patient care. As a Senior Cloud Software Developer on our InteleOrchestrator team, you’ll play a critical role in building intelligent, cloud-native solutions that streamline radiology workflows for providers around the world.

This isn’t just software development—it’s mission-driven innovation. You’ll help design and deliver robust applications that optimize diagnostic efficiency, reduce clinical burden, and improve patient outcomes. If you thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment and are driven to push boundaries while building meaningful solutions, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance cloud-native applications using modern microservices patterns on AWS.
  • Own full-stack solutions, designing backend services and intuitive web frontends that align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Drive innovation by collaborating on system architecture, evaluating new technologies, and contributing to our technical roadmap.
  • Mentor and support junior developers—sharing knowledge, reviewing code, and promoting continuous learning.
  • Champion quality by implementing automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and security best practices.
  • Translate business needs into practical solutions in partnership with Product, UX, and Clinical teams.
  • Work with healthcare data standards (HL7, DICOM) in a highly regulated environment, ensuring compliance and performance.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on development with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, ECS/EKS).
  • 3+ years building and deploying full-stack web applications in production.

Technical Skills:

  • Languages: Proficient in Kotlin and Go; strong grasp of object-oriented and functional programming.
  • Backend: Expertise in Spring Boot and microservices design.
  • Frontend: Experience with Angular or React.
  • Databases: Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
  • Tooling: Familiarity with Gradle, Git, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Platforms: Comfortable working across Windows and Linux environments.

Soft Skills:

  • Clear and confident communicator—both written and verbal.
  • Creative problem solver with a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience navigating complex requirements and balancing priorities in agile teams.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with C# or .NET Core
  • Familiarity with JOOQ or similar database abstraction layers
  • Exposure to observability tools like Datadog, New Relic, or similar
  • Background in healthcare or regulated industries (FDA, FAA)
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Experience designing and scaling distributed systems
