About the Role 

We are looking for a Senior Architect/Tech Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership for DevOps and platform engineering initiatives. This role owns the reliability, automation, and delivery foundations that enable engineering teams to ship faster and operate safely in production.

This is a technical leadership role (player/coach) — you will lead delivery and set technical standards, while staying deeply hands-on.

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the platform DevOps team; contribute to DevOps strategic plan and roadmap.
• Support and enhance our Internal Developer Portal (IDP) to enable developer self-service and consistent delivery workflows.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to support consistent, reliable, and secure deployments. 
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to standardize environments and reduce manual effort.
• Build and maintain standardized templates / golden paths for service onboarding, CI/CD setup, and Kubernetes deployments.
• Own and enhance Kubernetes-based platform environments, improving scalability, stability, and operational readiness.
• Establish and maintain best practices for:
• deployment automation
• environment consistency
• observability (monitoring/logging/alerts)
• incident response readiness and reliability improvements
• Partner with Engineering teams to improve developer experience, release processes, and system resiliency.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across infrastructure, pipelines, and cloud services; lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Create and maintain strong technical documentation, runbooks, and operational playbooks to improve repeatability and reduce operational risk.
• Evaluate tools and propose improvements to optimize pipeline performance, security, and maintainability. 

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, Codefresh, Jenkins, or equivalent. 
• Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and modern cloud-native deployment patterns.
• Strong understanding of operational fundamentals: high availability, scaling, load balancing, reliability, and security best practices. 
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with an ability to quickly isolate and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Strong communication skills and comfort coordinating work across cross-functional engineering teams. 

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Scripting knowledge in bash. Knowledge of Python or node.js.

Salary and Benefits: 

• Salary Range: $175,000 - $200,000
