We’re looking for a hands-on, proactive, and experienced Senior Claims Manager to lead and oversee our claims operation. In this role, you’ll manage Fairmatic’s internal claims team and serve as the primary point of contact for our Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and Carriers.


You’ll work closely with our Global Head of Insurance Operations to develop and execute Fairmatic’s claims strategy, while collaborating with the Product team to create a top-tier customer experience and build efficient, innovative claims processes. This position plays a key role in shaping our claims approach, improving customer satisfaction, and driving operational excellence.


We’re looking for someone with a growth mindset who is eager to challenge the status quo and drive change in claims management within the US Commercial Auto space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Claims team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Uphold Fairmatic’s service standards, delivering exceptional customer experiences across the claims process.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), ensuring performance meets both contractual expectations and company standards.
  • Collaborate with carrier partners to streamline and optimize claims processing and resolution.
  • Partner with the Product team to design and refine claims processes that drive efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the overall claims strategy, ensuring alignment with Fairmatic’s business objectives.
  • Develop and track key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of claims operations.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure Fairmatic’s claims processes remain innovative and compliant.
  • Ensure all claims activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in claims management within the insurance industry (auto required, commercial auto preferred).
  • Proven experience leading claims teams and working with third-party administrators.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance coverages, claims processes, and industry regulations.
  • Experience analyzing claims data to assess and improve portfolio performance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience working with product or technology teams to implement and manage claims systems and processes.
