Oversees the management and analysis of reinsurance claims, including complex and high value exposures. Ensures accurate reporting, billing, and recovery of reinsurance assets while acting as a subject matter expert on treaty agreements. Partners with claims teams to support effective handling, optimize recoveries, and maintain compliance with contractual requirements.
Your Impact:
Evaluate underlying claims to determine reinsurance applicability and coverage alignment with precision.
Interpret reinsurance treaties to drive accurate reporting and ensure full contractual adherence.
Collaborate cross functionally with underwriters, brokers, and actuaries to assess claim developments and optimize outcomes.
Enforce strict compliance with internal protocols while upholding operational integrity and consistency.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
Bachelor's degree required; reinsurance certifications preferred (e.g., ARe, CPCU, AIC)
5+ years of reinsurance multi-lines claims handling experience (Casualty preferred)
Strong understanding of reinsurance structures, treaty language, and claims recovery processes.
Proficiency in data analysis and financial reconciliation.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Pay Range:
$80,000 - $100,000 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
