Infovisa, Inc. is looking for a senior level Software Engineer to join our team in our office in Centennial, Colorado. We are looking for a well-rounded engineer who works well with others, enjoys challenges, and is technically strong and confident in their abilities You would be spearheading our effort to maintain and expand our flagship client server accounting product designed to work on Windows operating systems.

Individual contributions are seen and recognized at Infovisa.  Developers at Infovisa design, document, implement, test, and maintain code.  Each team member is required to wear many hats and wear them well.  Developers provide general technical expertise for our company on many domains, including database design and optimization, hardware, networking, and operating systems.

Successful candidates will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Enjoy solving problems.
  • Have meaningful job experience using C++ or C#.
  • Embrace the use of AI to improve code quality and productivity.
  • Enjoy working in C++. Most of our new development is written in C# and .NET, but we have a very large legacy code base written in C++ that will not be going away and needs to be maintained.
  • Want to work alongside, collaborate with, and be part of a team.
  • Be comfortable reading and supporting a variety of programming languages.
  • Be creative and interested in all tiers of software development, from backend interfaces to user experience.
  • Be flexible and adapt well to change. Our customers come first. What we are working on is subject to interruption.
  • Be able to maintain focus and complete tasks with minimum oversight.
  • Enjoy being visible and taking responsibility.
  • Have a genuine interest in learning more about the financial accounting business domain.  Our developers design quality software because we genuinely want to know and understand our users and their business processes and needs.
  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Enjoy collaborating and communicating with team members who are not engineers.
  • Excel at reading, understanding, and working with existing code. Accept, understand, and capably maintain our legacy code base, with a desire to improve it (not replace it).
  • Recognize and identify potential risks, and be able to identify, evaluate, and present options to mitigate risk.
  • Think big picture while also seeing and taking care of the details. Understands the value and importance of pennies in an accounting package.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of finance fundamentals. 
  • Recognize and identify opportunities for improvements (in process, procedure, coding practices, UX).
  • Gather user requirements and translate those requirements into action items.
  • Possess the desire to make an immediate and positive impact on our development team, our company, and our clients.

What We Offer

The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers in the state of Colorado to disclose the following information. If the position applied to is not located in Colorado, the following information may not apply. Salary Minimum: $100,000 Salary Maximum:$140,000. The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Infovisa's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and a profit sharing plan. In addition, Infovisa provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays (10+ days) and paid time off (PTO).
