The Senior Business Systems Consultant is a strategic, field-facing leader responsible for aligning enterprise technology solutions with business objectives. Working closely with our financial professionals, the role will bridge between our clients (financial professionals) and internal teams, and third-party vendors, this role ensures that systems are effectively integrated, user-friendly, and compliant with regulatory standards.
This individual plays a key role in shaping the firm’s technology roadmap, driving adoption of tools that enhance client service, streamline operations, and support growth. They lead the evaluation and implementation of enterprise platforms, manage vendor relationships, and serve as the central point of contact for new software initiatives. This role reports to the Head of Investments and Advisory Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide guidance on financial professional-centric software including Morningstar Advisor Workstation, Envestnet, NetX/Wove and WealthView
- Familiarity and ability to articulate the value of CRMs, financial planning tools, and other business-focused systems for financial professionals
- Ensure data management practices align with FINRA requirements and SOC 2 controls.
- Partner on universal account opening and multi-custody trading/custody solutions.
- Support information security and risk management initiatives.
- Evaluate and manage third-party systems supporting financial professionals.
- Lead the integration and execution of artificial intelligence initiatives and other emerging technologies.
- Define and manage the overall technology strategy as it relates to financial professionals and their businesses.
- Drive strategy, feature roadmaps, and go-to-market execution for financial professional (FP)-focused technology.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Operations, Compliance, Finance, Legal, Field Leaders) to define product specifications.
- Represent product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct market research and deliver insights to senior management.
- Conduct testing, training, and demos for financial professionals.
- Manage project workflows, contracts, and statements of work (SOWs).
- Ensure product quality, compliance, and readiness for market launch.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to track performance and user adoption.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Field-facing presence with the ability to drive adoption and change
- Strong technical understanding of system architectures, APIs, and data processing
- Familiarity with financial platforms (e.g., Envestnet, Morningstar, Salesforce, eMoney)
- Experience with AI, cloud computing, and emerging technologies
- Ability to align technology initiatives with business goals
- Skilled at translating business needs into technical requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills for vendor and stakeholder management
- Experience managing software implementations and integrations - project lifecycles, SOWs, and contracting
- Data analysis and insight generation to support decision-making
- UX testing and user feedback integration
- Acts as a central point of contact and advocate for new technology initiatives
EDUCATION
- 5+ years in a Technical Product Management role working directly with financial professionals
- Experience in capital markets and financial technology
- Proficiency in project and lifecycle management, including SOWs and business proposal evaluation
- Proven collaboration with UX and engineering teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions
Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000
