Role overview

Brigit is in the midst of tremendous growth! As a Senior Associate in Business Operations, you’ll work closely with our Senior Manager, Business Operations to support high-priority initiatives from our CEO and COO. You’ll help drive projects, providing support and project management to help us grow, scale and run the business more effectively. You will help to build, develop and lead day-to-day operations, at both a strategic and tactical level.

You will serve as a critical partner for senior leaders on ad hoc projects ranging from business decision support to putting together presentations for our Board of Directors. You can easily structure and conceptualize new ideas and back them up by research and data analysis. You make really complex things simple to understand by breaking them down into smaller pieces. This is also how you solve problems with ease. In turn, you put these new ideas or plans into action with your strong “get it done” attitude and hustle skills.

*This is a full-time role which will operate out of Brigit’s New York office, with the option to work remotely 2 days a week.

What you’ll be doing

  • Operationalize key organizational initiatives based on direction from our CEO and COO, monitor the status and push them forward

  • Evaluate and advance strategic partnership opportunities, conducting market research, building business cases, and coordinating due diligence

  • Establish and refine operational processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and cross‑team collaboration; document workflows and share best practices.

  • Develop robust, data-driven presentations for senior leadership

  • Manage ad hoc special projects end to end; i.e. set process, deadlines, and deliverables

  • You’re someone who can context switch effortlessly and thrive on adding value wherever it is most needed.

    • This means that one day you might be leading a cross‑functional workstream to launch a new product feature or operationalize a regulatory requirement, and the next, you could be drafting a strategic business case or building a board-ready presentation.

  • Assist with Finance, Legal, People Ops, and other core operational tasks

What you have

  • 2+ years of investment banking, management consulting, or corporate strategy experience; AND

  • 3+ years in a business operations role at a payments or technology company (preferably fintech)

  • Strong attention to detail, highly analytical and proficient with presentations

  • Ability to drive end-to-end projects with little guidance or supervision

  • Resourceful and happy to roll up your sleeves to get any job done

  • Strong written and oral communicator

  • Comfortable working under pressure against aggressive deadlines

  • Highly organized with a bias for action and strong sense of ownership and accountability

What Makes This Role Unique

  • Working closely with leadership team, providing an opportunity to learn about multiple parts of the business, alongside the business owners

  • Work with talented and highly motivated colleagues

  • Contribute to a transparent, high-performing, fun, and caring culture

  • Help hard working Americans build a brighter financial future
