The Role
As a Sr. Business Development Representative, you are the first connection between Splash Sports and future partners — setting the foundation for long-term relationships and fueling our company’s growth. You’ll engage with commissioners and content creators, helping them discover how Splash Sports can simplify the process of running a contest or open up a new, highly engaging channel of income. Working closely across business development and marketing teams, you’ll develop outreach strategies, identify high-potential channels, and create new business opportunities. You’ll also collaborate with our team to continuously improve our sales approach. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role that requires curiosity, humility, and a genuine passion for the world of sports and gambling.

What You’ll Do:
- Form and nurture relationships with our 1000+ VIP commissioners.
- Create and manage strategic email drip campaigns that drive commissioner sign-ups.
- Schedule and coordinate sales meetings, compelling and consultative demos, and follow-up calls to advance commissioners through the onboarding cycle.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer information in Hubspot.
- Generate new business opportunities.
- Build a strong sales pipeline of new content creator partners and organizations.
- Hunt for new business across various sports-related communities.
- Become an industry expert, learning about the needs and challenges of running contests and monetizing audiences in order to tailor conversations effectively.
- Actively contribute to team growth, sharing insights, feedback, and new ideas to optimize our sales process.
Who You Are:
- A hard worker 1+ year of experience in startup sales (preferably as an SDR or BDR).
- Highly effective communication skills, with ability to build rapport, nurture relationships, and strong presentation skills.
- Tech-savvy, with experience using tools like Hubspot and Figma a plus.
- Passionate about sports—talking about sports and gambling is second nature (former college athletes strongly preferred, but not required).
Compensation & Benefits:
As a Splash team member, you’ll receive a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes:
- A competitive annual salary range of $55-$75k, (base + commission). This range may be modified, and final compensation may vary based on work experience and skill level
