CACI is currently searching for a Software Sales and Business Development Manager to grow business for their commercial multi-domain joint targeting tool with DOD and Federal Agency Customers.  CACI requires an experienced software Sales and BD Manager who brings support to targeting and targeting understanding, strategic perspective, and a track record of success in growing and expanding software sales with new customers and products.

The ideal candidate will be well versed in Targeting, Common Operating Picture (COP), and Common Intelligence Picture software solutions, especially those used by DoD, COCOMs, and government intelligence agencies. He/she shall have an in-depth understanding of the mission, structure, decision making, and acquisition process of these entities.  He/she will possess operational domain knowledge, strong communication skills, and creative energy/aptitude to identify, develop, shape and drive to closure new business opportunities. The successful candidate will have a strong personal reputation and integrity and demonstrated ability to develop trusted relationships across DoD, COCOMs, and Government Agency customers and partners.
The role will report to the VP of Business Development for the Command Control Communications and Intelligence (C3I) Line of business and support Line of Business Leadership.

More About the Role:
· Build the pipeline for growth by ensuring excellence in delivery of full life cycle sales and business development activities including target identification, capture strategies, proposal and quote management, contract award, and customer relations.
· Must be willing to weigh in on difficult decisions (bid/no bid and pricing) to maximize Pwin and profitable new business growth with limited resources.
· Provide critical linkages between the long-term strategic plan and near-term new business actions and partner with the C3I Line of Business leaders and Business Development VP, and Client Executives to ensure effective use of business development and line resources across the group as well as identifying and responding to key customer relationship needs.
· Develop and contribute to customer contact plans and campaign win strategies for new business while also providing expertise in other new business matters including: strategic planning, competitive intelligence, market analysis, and feature development.

Required Qualifications:
· A minimum of 10+ years of software sales and business with DoD, COCOM, and Government Agency customers.
· Broad understanding of DoD, COCOM, and Government Agency missions, structures, platforms, systems, and acquisition coupled with operational or technical domain expertise and demonstrated history software sales.
· Experience with a variety of commercial software sales acquisition approaches into DOD and Federal Customers including CSOs and OTAs.
· Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build win-win partnerships externally with customers and within CACI, with a particular focus on understanding how to leverage technology differentiators.
· Excellent communication skills and highly effective interpersonal skills required as well as an ability to inspire confidence.
· The ability and willingness to travel, as required, 25-50%.
· Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, related technical field, or business (Master's Degree preferred) or relevant DoD, COCOM, and Government Agency leadership experience.
· Location in Washington, D.C. or Denver area
· Requires US Citizen with Active Secret Clearance to start with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$114,600-$252,100
