Commercial Operations. Senior Business Compliance Analyst
As a part of the Global Commercial Operations Department, the Business Compliance Analyst role will be primarily responsible for managing information and processes to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other compliance requirements in support of Global Commercial Operations are met. The Business Compliance Analyst may be assigned other (non-compliance) projects or responsibilities in support of the overall business. The Business Compliance Analyst will develop, analyze and provide reports and information to support compliance quarterly and as requested based on business needs. The Business Compliance Analyst will be responsible for coordinating requirements and completion of tasks, engaging with other groups and cross-functional departments in support of the business for Compliance reporting. This role will support sustaining compliance requirements, process improvements and system evolutions.
Senior Business Compliance Analyst will:
· Serve as the Global Commercial Operations liaison working with Illumina’s Internal and External Audit teams with a primary focus on SOX compliance requirements for the business.
· Recommend, develop and manage tools, reports and processes to support global compliance and Internal Audit requirements.
· Lead meetings and trainings with Global teams focused on compliance processes and requirements.
· Identify and lead process improvements with cross-functional teams and GIS
· Own the process for the updating of SOX process narratives and corresponding controls.
· Responsible to connect Policies and operating procedures and answering questions from regional teams on Business Compliance
· Ensure quarterly SOX certification requirements are met for the Commercial Operations. Advice stakeholders in Sales and Customer Care on the key learnings from Qtrly reports
· Actively participate, as the Business Compliance representative in new processes and integration projects
· Understand and communicate strategic and tactical directions to ensure consistent and cohesive business objectives in cross functional settings
· Create and update work instructions and process maps on Business Compliance projects
· Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams to support process implementation, improvements and adherence to compliance guidelines in support of the business globally.
· Work directly with Regional Management teams and Global Management to drive new initiatives and review compliance or other processes.
· Lead or Represent the Commercial Operations/Customer Service functions on new processes or process and system improvements in support of the business for Non-Compliance initiatives as assigned.

· Strong analytical skills
· Very Strong Microsoft Excel Experience

Experience
· Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree
· Previous SOX and Audit experience
· Accounting/Finance knowledge preferred
· Experienced with SOX compliance requirements
· Previous experience working in or with Finance, customer service, order management, field support, or similar groups in an analyst position
· Previous Life Science or Clinical Industry experience a plus
· Experience working with ERP (SAP) and CRM systems (SFDC), Power Apps, preferred
· Previous experience developing or running reports using Cognos or other BI tools
· Experience using Microsoft suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Lucidcharts
The estimated base salary range for the Senior Business Compliance Analyst role based in the United States of America is: $82,500 - $123,700. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
