The Senior Business Applications Project Manager is responsible for overseeing complex, cross-functional initiatives related to the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of enterprise business applications. This role leads high-impact projects and programs across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy. The Senior Business Applications Project Manager partners with senior leadership, business stakeholders, IT, and application teams to drive successful outcomes, ensure business readiness, and deliver long-term value
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead strategic, high-visibility projects and programs related to business systems such as ERP (e.g., NetSuite), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and other enterprise platforms
- Drive all aspects of the project lifecycle, including scope definition, planning, execution, change management, and benefits realization
- Develop detailed project and program roadmaps that align with business goals and stakeholder priorities
- Collaborate with inter-departmental and cross-functional team members to gather requirements, identify dependencies, and define measurable success criteria
- Identify and manage program risks, dependencies, and issues; escalate appropriately and ensure mitigation plans are in place
- Prepare executive-level communications, dashboards, and presentations highlighting status, risks, KPIs, and impact
- Foster a culture of ownership and accountability among project teams and provide mentoring or guidance to less experienced project managers
- Champion best practices in project delivery, agile/hybrid methodologies, and business process improvement
- Conduct lessons learned and continuous improvement activities post-implementation
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- 7+ years of experience leading business application or IT projects
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or comparable certification
- Experience managing enterprise-level programs or portfolios
- Demonstrated success managing multi-system initiatives involving platforms such as Salesforce and NetSuite
- Proven ability to manage enterprise-wide initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, lead change, and drive alignment at all levels
- Expertise in project and program management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for project management
- Strong knowledge of business systems and processes across finance, sales, and operations
- Skilled at managing vendor relationships and third-party deliverables
- Experience with resource planning, financial tracking, and benefits realization
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex environments
- Familiarity with change management frameworks and organizational readiness planning

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
