Senior Business Analyst

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to build a strategic linkage between the functions capabilities and its business objectives by conducting timely and accurate analysis on business parameters, contribute to its profitability by effectively participating at the Budgeting process, establishing necessary cost controlling mechanisms, generating timely information on business/ departmental performance, facilitate management decision making, thereby support the organization to seize opportunities presented by rapidly changing customer and business requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate strategic decision-making initiatives/discussions by participating at relevant meetings/forums, carrying out relevant groundwork, research and data analysis via connecting with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely availability of information required to support decision making.
- Support the development of performance measures (KPI’s) for functional leads and their respective structures whilst ensuring the strategic alignment and ensuring timely achievement of set goals/ performance measures by conducting management
reviews on an agreed cadence and providing strategic inputs for course correction. - Oversee the annual LRP preparation process ensuring accurate vet/validation of the presentation decks and supporting documents to be presented to respective leadership boards/stakeholder groups of the organization and ensure monitoring of progress of initiatives in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide daily operational support to Director, managing time and calendar and assist him/her in prioritizing activities between internal and external engagements in order to optimize his/her effectiveness.
- Schedule meetings periodically to drive hoshin targets across the department, prepare KPI charts, monitor performance of team with timely follow up on agreed action plans, to facilitate management reviews on an agreed cadence.
- Drive special functional projects for the division, follow up on deliverables with timely and accurate enactment of same by liaising with internal / external stakeholders.
- Overlook and coordinate with the lean team on the implementation and sustenance of lean requirements within the function whilst constantly monitoring the progress ensuring required standards are adhered to foster a lean culture within the team
- Build, Maintain & leverage effective cordial engagement with all internal and external stakeholder groups of the function to ensure uninterrupted flow of business operations, strengthen partnerships & enhance stakeholder connectivity to build strategic relationships and support organizational deliverables.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Degree in Business Administration and/ or CIMA or Chartered Qualification.
- 2 to 3 years of work experience in a similar capacity.
- Good understanding of the business and its stakeholders.
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and IT literacy.
