The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive strategic initiatives supporting SEI Institutional Transfer Agency, SEI Transfer Agency & Registrar Services, and the firm’s multi‑year modernization roadmap.

This role plays a critical part in transforming SEI’s TA ecosystem—advancing large‑scale fund conversions, standardizing operating models, implementing in‑house solutions to replace vendor platforms, and enabling the next generation of operational efficiency across the organization.

As a senior leader within the program, you will work closely with business executives, operational leaders, technology teams, product partners, external vendors, and cross‑functional project groups to design, document, test, and deliver enterprise‑level solutions.

What You Will Do:

Lead Large‑Scale Conversion Initiatives

>  Serve as a primary lead for major conversions from SS&C TA2000 to SEI’s Envision platform, covering 1,500+ funds and ~$400B AUM, ensuring data integrity, operational readiness, and alignment to business objectives.  

>  Lead onboarding and conversion efforts for AIC and other third‑party fund complexes (100+ funds, ~$100B AUM) transitioning from external TA providers.  

>  Manage new business conversions with a focus on cost optimization, process consistency, and effective vendor coordination.

Solution Delivery, Systems Configuration & Technical Execution

>  Lead end‑to‑end solution onboarding—including scoping, estimation, design, business/technical requirements, workflow configuration, reporting needs, automation design, and data conversion mapping.  

>  Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, configuration documentation, and testing frameworks.  

>  Design and execute comprehensive end‑to‑end test plans across interconnected applications to validate enhancements, conversions, and reporting deliverables.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

>  Collaborate with developers, QA teams, fund accountants, investor services, sales, relationship managers, and external vendors to deliver scalable, reliable, and high‑quality solutions.  

>  Work with business management on forecasting, EVA alignment, budgeting, and operational prioritization.

Process & Platform Improvement

< >  Analyze current TA workflows and operational processes to identify optimization opportunities.Lead approved process enhancement initiatives, ensuring measurable and sustainable operational efficiencies.What We Need From You (Minimum Qualifications):

Experience & Technical Skills

>  BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience.

>  10+ years of business analysis experience within Transfer Agency servicing, including reporting, SQL, and data analysis.  

>  Strong hands‑on experience leading large‑scale fund or TA conversions, ideally with platforms like Envision, TA2000, or FIS.  

>  High proficiency with SQL, relational databases, and familiarity with agile methodologies and the SDLC.

Domain Expertise

>  Deep understanding of end‑to‑end Transfer Agency operations, workflows, and data flows.  

>  Experience with transfer agency systems and connected vendor applications such as AML, DDA Bank, Blue Sky, Print Vendor or equivalent analytical/operational tools.

>  Proven ability to break down complex operational and data challenges into actionable requirements.  

>  Exceptional communication (written & verbal) and presentation abilities.

The base salary pay for this role is $155,000 - $165,000 per year. This position will also be eligible to earn a discretionary bonus each year, subject to company approval.
