We are seeking a Senior BI Developer to join a Data Applications team focused on delivering secure, user-facing analytics solutions that support operational and leadership decision-making. In this role, you’ll help design, build, and sustain enterprise dashboards and reporting platforms integrated with complex healthcare data environments. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics experiences while ensuring data accuracy, usability, and compliance within a regulated federal ecosystem.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and analytics solutions using Tableau, Qlik, or similar enterprise BI platforms
- Build and optimize backend queries leveraging SQL Server and structured data models to support scalable reporting
- Integrate analytics into secure data applications and collaborate with full-stack teams to embed insights into user workflows
- Support administration and performance tuning of BI environments, including platform configuration and optimization
- Partner with functional stakeholders to translate requirements into meaningful visualizations and operational metrics
- Validate data outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business context
- Contribute to iterative delivery within Agile environments, supporting enhancements, defect resolution, and continuous improvement
- Experience developing enterprise dashboards and analytics solutions in complex environments
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data modeling concepts
- Hands-on experience with BI platforms such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, or similar tools
- Understanding of visualization best practices and user-centered analytics design
- Experience working with healthcare or regulated datasets is a plus
- Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in Agile delivery environments
- Prior experience supporting DHA or federal healthcare programs is preferred
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
