We are currently seeking an exceptional professional to join us as Global Senior Benefits Administrator

About role:

The Global Senior Benefits Administrator is a key member of the Total Rewards team responsible for the day‑to‑day administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of employee benefits across multiple countries. This role partners closely with vendors, brokers, HR, Payroll, Finance, and Legal to ensure that benefit programs are compliant, cost‑effective, and aligned with our Total Rewards philosophy.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on benefits operations expert who thrives in complex global environments and demonstrates strong proficiency in HRIS/benefits administration platforms. They provide best‑in‑class employee support with accuracy, clarity, and empathy across health, wellness, retirement, and leave programs. This role significantly shapes the employee experience as a trusted global resource for benefits guidance, compliance, and care.

Key Activities:
  • Administer health & welfare, retirement, time‑off, insured, and voluntary benefits across the U.S. and international markets (EMEA, APAC, LatAm).
  • Manage eligibility, enrollments, life events, terminations, and data corrections with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain data integrity; troubleshoot eligibility rules, life‑event logic, and HRIS/payroll interfaces.
  • Support global renewals, plan implementations, vendor transitions, and data feed testing.
  • Maintain plan documents, SPDs, SBCs, notices, and country‑specific evidence of coverage.
Vendor, Broker & Platform Management
  • Manage day‑to‑day relationships with carriers, benefit administration platforms, and brokers.
  • Monitor vendor performance, SLAs, and data accuracy; lead regular reviews and corrective actions.
  • Support market reviews, benchmarking, renewals, and RFP processes.
Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure global compliance across ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, GDPR, and local statutory requirements, including Works Council obligations.
  • Support audits, nondiscrimination testing, and SOC/ISAE controls.
  • Maintain SOX‑ready processes, SOPs, and documentation.
Leave of Absence & Workers' Compensation
  • Administer U.S. leave of absence and workers’ compensation programs; manage cases and partner with Prudential and Health & Safety.
  • Ensure accurate payroll processing for all leave types.
Retirement & Financial Operations
  • Administer 401(k) funding and reporting; ensure accuracy and timely contributions.
  • Oversee benefits invoicing and ensure on‑time payment to suppliers.
  • Partner with Payroll on deductions, arrears, refunds, taxable benefits, retroactivity, and reconciliations.
Employee Experience & Communications
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for benefits and leave inquiries, maintaining SLAs and service quality.
  • Draft and deliver clear, empathetic communications including guides, FAQs, microsite content, orientation materials, and open enrollment collateral.
  • Facilitate benefits orientations, webinars, and country‑specific education sessions.
  • Lead the annual open enrollment process end‑to‑end.
  • Manage wellness program strategy, engagement, and vendor-supported programming.
Strategic Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze program utilization, cost trends, and data insights to drive improvements.
  • Support M&A diligence and integration including benefits mapping, transition planning, and communications.

About You:
  • 5–7+ years progressive U.S. benefits administration experience; 2+ years supporting international benefits preferred.
  • Global benefits exposure across EMEA/APAC/LatAm; experience with non‑U.S. retirement plans (e.g., UK pension).
  • Experience with renewals, RFPs, benchmarking, or M&A integration.
  • Demonstrated vendor/ben‑admin platform experience including EDI/API file management.
  • Hands‑on HRIS experience (e.g., Workday) and experience with case/ticketing systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred certifications: CEBS, GBA, CBP, PHR/SPHR, SHRM‑CP/SCP.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA) and familiarity with international statutory frameworks; comfortable partnering with Legal/Privacy on GDPR.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivots, audits) and strong data quality discipline.
  • Ability to collaborate across global time zones; occasional early/late meetings.
