Bonterra’s Enterprise BDR team is responsible for identifying new business opportunities by building relationships with potential clients to discuss their needs and identify solutions provided by Bonterra. This position will be responsible for managing a team of Outbound Enterprise Development Representatives (EDR) who are responsible for generating qualified pipeline through prospecting and referrals. The ideal candidate has experience in both sales and management and can motivate and coach others to exceed expectations.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of BDRs focused on generating pipeline across various industries and geographies

  • Provide guidance and support to EDRs to help them exceed activity goals and quota attainment percentages

  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales Operations to align marketing campaigns with EDR outreach efforts

  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to develop strategies for closing opportunities generated by the EDR team

  • Coordinate with other departments such as Customer Success and Product to ensure EDRs have necessary resources and information to effectively engage with prospects

  • Track key performance metrics related to EDR activities and provide regular feedback to individual team members

  • Conduct regular meetings with the team to discuss best practices, share success stories, and address any challenges or concerns

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a similar role within a software/SaaS organization

  • Proven track record of successfully managing teams of sales professionals

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a variety of audiences

  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally at all levels of the organization

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change

Compensation

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 

 

Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity. 

 

US Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 base salary w/ a 10% annual bonus
