Fantasy BE PHP Senior Engineer

Responsibilities:

• New feature development for our season long and casual fantasy games in an Agile environment

• Maintain game operations (e.g. seasonal launches)

• Build APIs to support our mobile and web clients

• Improve the code base and maintain engineering excellence

• Interact cross functionally with Product and Design teams to plan and execute on fantasy projects

• Architect infrastructure solutions to complex problems for new development

Requirements: 

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent certification

• Technical Experience:

  • Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX

  • OOP and software design in PHP

  • Strong skills writing unit and functional tests

• 5+ years of experience

Nice to Have:

• Building and/or using RESTful APIs

• Web servers like jetty or undertow

• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS

• Experience with MySQL or similar query languages

• Track record of proactively establishing and following through on commitments

• Passion for sports and for delivering products that users simply cannot live without

• Experience in using AI to develop code and solve problems is a huge plus!

The compensation for this position ranges from $120,750.00 - $251,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
