9th Way Insignia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in Visual Studio, .NET-based test automation frameworks, and a solid foundation in manual testing practices. The ideal candidate will be capable of designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation suites while also participating in exploratory and functional manual testing when needed. This role requires technical depth, problem solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams.
Professional LevelThe Senior Automation Tester aligns as an E3 (Engineer 3) at 9th Way Insignia. An Engineer 3 is an experienced engineer/architect who works independently on complex assignments, applies advanced problem-solving to develop durable technical solutions, and contributes to technical direction through strong engineering judgment, clear documentation, and mentorship. This level is expected to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders, drive quality and consistency in engineering outputs, and consistently deliver high-impact results with minimal supervision.

Collaboration & Leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 4+ years in automation.
- Strong expertise in Visual Studio, C#, .NET Core, and automation tools such as:
- Selenium WebDriver
- BDD frameworks
- NUnit
- Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, RestSharp, or similar libraries.
- Working knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and build automation.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile principles.
- Ability to perform manual testing with attention to detail, solid documentation skills, and strong analytical thinking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and debugging abilities.
- Ability to work independently and lead testing efforts.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for improving product quality.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance at the Tier 2 (Moderate Risk) level (active preferred)
- Experience testing cloud-based applications (Azure preferred).
- Performance testing experience (JMeter, or similar).
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments.
