Job Description

Position Overview

As an Associate, Services Business Development, you will be responsible for assisting Invenergy’s Services Business Development team by building new and expanding existing customer relationships, developing new service offerings, proposing and assisting with structuring service contracts for wind, solar, storage, and thermal generation assets at one of the most dynamic and entrepreneurial companies in the industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with pricing and proposal strategies to customers.

  • Support project management/coordination of transactional services.

  • Coordinate with Operations, Asset Management, Origination, Engineering and other departments in order to craft customer-specific offerings.

  • Support development of new 3rd party product/service offerings

  • Prepare, distribute and on occasion present material prior to and during customer meetings.

  • Ensure RFP summaries, proposal and pricing information are entered into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of submitted proposals and pricing models.

  • Perform operations and maintenance market research and analysis.

  • Support Invenergy Services marketing and communications strategy.

  • Eligible to work in the Unites States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future. 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, engineering, finance or similar field.

  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management skills

  • Ability to develop strong business relationships through creative problem-solving, strategic-thinking and negotiation skills.

  • 3+ years of experience within the renewable energy industry

  • Project management

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to perform under significant time and pressure conditions

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.

  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of gas and renewable energy operational services

  • Knowledge of the electric utility industry and electric energy markets

Base Pay

$90,000.00 - $105,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 20% - 30%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
 
In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance. Your recruiter can share more about bonus eligibility for this position during the hiring process.
