CLA is growing and seeking to hire a Senior Associate – R&D Tax Credits and Cost Segregation to join our talented Federal Tax Strategies (FTS) team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.
In this position you should have the following: excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
How you’ll create opportunities in the FTS Senior Associate role:
- Assist FTS leaders with the delivery of research and development (R&D) tax credit studies for various industries, including Manufacturing, Technology, and Life Sciences.
- Assist FTS leaders with the delivery of cost segregation and fixed asset studies.
- Willingness to develop a deep understanding of various industries including Manufacturing, Real Estate, Construction, Healthcare and Technology.
- Demonstrated success in a business environment.
- Assist managers, directors, and principals with client consultations, technical interviews, calculation review, site visits, and report development.
- Mentor associates and other team members on their inspired career.
- Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience required
- Experience in business services or consulting preferred
- Eligible to sit for the CPA preferred
Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
The compensation range for this position in California is: $84,400.00 – $143,000.00
The compensation range for this position in Colorado is: $78,100.00 – $129,000.00
The compensation range for this position in New York is: $93,900.00 – $143,000.00
