Job Description:
In this position as a Power Platform Analyst, you will support the design, development, enhancement, and automation of business applications and reporting capabilities utilizing Microsoft Power Platform technologies. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and collaboration skills to develop scalable solutions that improve operational and financial processes. In this position, you will also:
- Create and enhance applications and ad-hoc reporting capabilities using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dataverse, and Power BI.
- Design, develop, configure, and enhance scalable web applications, dashboards, and reporting tools to support business and financial operations.
- Develop automation solutions to support financial reporting, accounting analysis, audit support activities, and process improvements.
- Develop automation to analyze data from source documents and HHS accounting systems and streamline reporting workflows.
- Support audit activities by developing automated solutions that assist with audit readiness, remediation tracking, and reporting accuracy.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, and user guidance materials.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to translate user stories and business requirements into functional technical solutions.
- Identify critical dependencies, troubleshoot technical issues, implement enhancements, and support system monitoring activities to ensure solution reliability.
- Support deployment activities, including conducting post-deployment reviews, validating system functionality, and resolving production issues.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related field.
- 5+ years of direct experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dataverse, and Power BI.
- 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable business applications and workflow automation solutions.
- 2+ years of experience developing dashboards, reporting capabilities, and data visualization solutions to support client operations and decision-making.
Desired Skills:
- Experience troubleshooting complex Power Platform solutions involving integrations across multiple Microsoft technologies.
- Experience collaborating with functional and technical teams to gather requirements, estimate work effort, and deliver technical solutions.
- Experience with Oracle Federal Financials preferred.
- Experience supporting federal financial reporting, audit readiness, or financial management automation initiatives preferred.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals certification preferred.
At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $135,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
