CoreWeave seeks a Senior Associate, Energy Markets to support the evaluation, structuring, and execution of power solutions that enable our rapidly growing data center platform. This role is highly analytical and execution-focused, sitting at the intersection of energy markets, infrastructure development, and finance.
The Senior Associate will play a critical role in assessing powered land and power access opportunities, supporting deal evaluation and contract execution, and coordinating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure power solutions align with CoreWeave’s technical, operational, and financial requirements.
Core Responsibilities:Deal Evaluation & Financial Analysis- Lead detailed financial analysis and modeling for power and energy-related opportunities, including powered land, utility power access, and third-party power solutions.
- Evaluate economics of power supply options, including utility service, self-build, and alternative or emerging power technologies.
- Develop scenario analyses around pricing, timing, capacity, and risk to support investment decisions.
- Prepare clear, data-driven investment memos, presentations, and materials for internal review by senior leadership.
- Assess power availability, interconnection paths, timelines, and constraints for new and existing data center markets.
- Support evaluation of new power technologies (e.g., on-site generation, storage, hybrid solutions) and their applicability to CoreWeave’s load profile.
- Partner with internal teams to align power strategy with deployment schedules and long-term growth plans.
- Work closely with Data Center Operations, Construction & Design, Corporate Finance, and Treasury to evaluate tradeoffs across cost, schedule, technical feasibility, and risk.
- Translate technical and market inputs into financial and commercial implications to support decision-making.
- Serve as a connective layer between technical, operational, and financial teams throughout deal lifecycle.
- Support engagement with utilities, power developers, and infrastructure partners to evaluate solutions and advance deals.
- Assist in structuring, reviewing, and executing commercial agreements, including Energy Supply Agreements (ESAs) and Capacity Service Agreements (CSAs).
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and internal stakeholders through diligence, contract execution, and post-signing handoff.
- 3+ years of experience in banking, venture or private equity with a focus on energy markets, infrastructure finance, power development, utilities, or a related analytical role.
- Strong financial modeling and deal evaluation skills; comfort underwriting long-lived infrastructure assets.
- Solid understanding of power markets, utility structures, and large-load energy consumers.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to clearly communicate complex analyses. Comfortable with using AI tools.
- Experience with power-related commercial agreements such as ESAs, CSAs, PPAs, or similar contracts.
- Exposure to data center infrastructure, hyperscale energy procurement, or large-scale real estate development.
- Familiarity with emerging power technologies or non-traditional power solutions.

The base salary range for this role is $122,000 to $179,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets.
