Job Description:
In this position as an Automation & AI Engineer, you will support the design, development, and deployment of intelligent automation solutions leveraging RPA, AI/ML, Chatbots, and cognitive automation technologies. You will play a key role in evaluating automation use cases, building proof-of-concepts, and modernizing existing automation solutions across hybrid environments. In this position, you will also:
- Assist in identification and evaluation of Intelligent Automation (IA) use cases that support business objectives.
- Support the prototyping, piloting, and evaluation of emerging RPA, AI/ML, Chatbot, and cognitive automation tools.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts and recommend solutions aligned with enterprise requirements.
- Design, develop, code, test, and release RPA and cognitive automation solutions (target of 10 automations annually).
- Migrate, enhance, and modernize existing automation solutions across on-premise, server, and cloud platforms.
- Apply Agile, DevOps, Test Driven Development (TDD), and CI/CD best practices to all development efforts.
- Work with new or legacy codebases to adjust solutions for compliance with platform standards.
- Deliver all required development documentation per ELC processes.
- Provide post-production support, change management, and maintenance for 10+ automations annually.
- Support operational enhancements, bug fixes, and platform-level adjustments for deployed automations.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in RPA, AI/ML, and cognitive automation engineering.
- 1+ year of experience with RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc.).
- 1+ year of experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, NLP tools, etc.) and chatbot technologies.
- 1+ year of experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Desired Skills:
- Relevant certification in RPA (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid deployment models, and system integration techniques for legacy and modern platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and IT teams.
- Experience developing intelligent document processing solutions leveraging AI/ML and related cognitive automation technologies.
- Exposure to federal government systems, compliance requirements, and security standards.
At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $115,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
