Cohesity is searching for a seasoned Senior Analyst Relations Manager to join our Marketing team! This position will report to the Senior Director of Analyst Relations.

We've been named a leader by multiple analyst firms, but we need you to help us facilitate broader and deeper analyst understanding of Cohesity's value proposition, strategy, and key competitive differentiators for the entire portfolio of products.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE 

  • Help drive Cohesity’s analyst relations strategy in partnership with product management, engineering and marketing teams to build and grow the Cohesity brand.

  • Help to evolve and execute the annual strategic analyst relations plan designed to inform and support product and market strategy, and market positioning to drive pipeline and category leadership.

  • Play a role in drafting and delivering company level narratives and storylines to facilitate broader and deeper analyst understanding about Cohesity’s vision, strategy, value proposition and key competitive differentiators for the entire portfolio of products.

  • Assist in the development of project plans and driving cross-functional program management of key reports and surveys including Gartner Magic Quadrants, and IDC MarketScapes. Work with product marketing and sales leaders to develop sales enablement materials in support of major report placements.

  • Assist with the strategy, coordination and preparation of presentations, briefing sheets, talking points and materials needed for key spokespeople ahead of analyst interactions.

  • Monitor research and deliver analyst sentiment, insights and opportunities on market and competitors to key internal partners and the senior leadership team.

  • Support the process of market share reporting to Gartner and IDC and pull reports and communicate market growth information internally.

  • Help with the assessment of the company’s TAM

  • Communicate Cohesity news to the analyst community and handle inbound analyst requests in a timely and effective manner, including: surveys, inquiries, briefings and customer requests.

  • Work closely with the communications team to evolve thought leadership with key industry influencers across both traditional and independent industry analysts.

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING 

  • 10+ years of Industry Analyst Relations experience preferred—but we are open to the right candidate that is making a career change.

  • Experience with industry analyst evaluations, including Gartner Magic Quadrants and IDC Marketscapes 

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an outstanding ability to translate technology features into business outcomes.

  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels within Cohesity and the analyst community.

  • Strong analytical and database skills preferred

  • Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously and under tight timelines; self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced, unstructured environment

  • Proven strategic problem solver with a demonstrated ability to develop stories with data and facts to influence industry trends.

  • Relationship driven - experience building successful senior level relationships, internally and externally.

  • Ambition, drive and commitment to great results; including a constant desire to evolve the AR program and to understand and develop best practices.

  • Intellectually curious, creative problem-solver who loves to tackle complex challenges.

  • Stellar project management skills.

  • Travel as needed for advisory days, conferences, team meetings and analyst events

WE ARE EXTRA EXCITED IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING 

  • Experience with Tier 2 and Tier 3 Analyst firms

  • Proficiency in all M365 programs including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and others

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range :

$160,000.00-$200,000.00

In-Office Expectations
Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
