Make an impact

The (West/East/Etc.) Senior Alternative Investment Wholesaler will drive fundraising results across the full suite of Bridge plus Apollo’s Real Estate product suite, with a focus on the major Wirehouses, Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and Independent Broker Dealer (IBD) client segments. The (West/East/Etc.) Real Estate Senior Wholesaler will focus their coverage on the top RIAs in their region, as well as partner with the US Wealth National Accounts team on Strategic Relationships across RIAs, IBDs, TAMPs and OCIOs. In instances where product is on the platforms of major Wirehouses, that FA penetration will become a major area of focus. This individual will have a deep, consistent track record of driving commercial outcomes, paired with key relationships across assigned region/territory.

The (West/East/Etc.) Senior Alternative Investment Wholesaler will champion the continual growth of the firm’s market share by supporting all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting, to closing business to asset retention. This prioritizes the coverage of regional teams of Financial Advisors of firms where products have been approved to drive deeper adoption. In the near term, there will be significant focus on 1031 distribution. The role should also plan on partnering with the investment organizations broadly to communicate and provide detailed technical expertise on investment strategies and how such strategies can be implemented within client firm platforms and models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive fundraising across the full Real Estate product suite, focused on a specific region/territory of advisors/firms under their coverage.
  • Deep understanding of the factors that drive wealth sales, especially tax, yield and liquidity implications.
  • Deep knowledge of and experience distributing DST/1031 solutions to clients.
  • Develops and executes sales plans to increase sales revenue and market share within assigned firms/institutions.
  • Position the suite of Real Estate strategies in a highly commercial and impactful manner with financial advisors in the coverage region/territory.
  • Penetrate specific target opportunities within the region to capitalize on strength and differentiation of Real Estate offerings and to implement sales campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with internal partners across the firm to cultivate a deep understanding of the investment approach and results to represent all facets of the firm’s products internally and externally.
  • Develop and deliver investment, market, and business communications to existing and prospective clients in one-on-one, small group, and large audience presentations.
  • Provide updates on overall financial markets performance, economic trends, and the overall investment outlook.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the investment team with the ability to present a deep understanding of the investment process, market outlook, and strong advocate for the services.
  • Utilizes expense budgets to set limits and maximize sales opportunities within his/her assigned territory.
  • Maintains sales call data in appropriate systems and/or complete sales reports.
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Work closely with other internal departments, including Marketing, Product Management, CPMs, etc to ensure impactful marketing materials are being created to reach prospects/clients.
  • Significant travel is required, with an expectation of 80% of the time being on the road.

What to bring

  • Minimum 10 years working in financial services with prior experience serving in a private wealth distribution role.
  • Proficiency and track record in successful Real Estate sales including but not limited to Private REITs, Interval Funds, DSTs and closed-end drawdown Real Estate offerings.
  • Significant relationships with high value advisors in the RIA and IBD channels in given territory, with a proven track record of raising assets.
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to a team focused approach to achieving individual, group, and business goals.
  • Sales and relationship-building acumen – ability to influence advisor decisions at point of sale.
  • Execute from sales process and business plan.
  • Deep knowledge of economics and capital markets, including global macro and marketing topics, paired with strong investment acumen.
  • Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused, and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining a calm and professional demeanor when handling demanding situations, such as prioritizing multiple tasks with critical target dates, dealing with demanding customers and participating in discussions with limited preparation time.
  • Must be able to cite examples from work experience on identifying complex problems, quantifying the problem, and providing resolutions to solve.
  • Demonstrated strong results orientation. Must cite examples of situations where a strong results orientation was demonstrated.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a finance-related field.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
  • Working knowledge of database and web-based applications, with a priority towards tools used to execute Wealth sales.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 Licenses required (24 may be required)
  • Preference for investment industry designations (e.g., CFA, CIMA, CFP, CAIA).

Bridge’s Client Solutions Group (CSG) works directly with some of the largest and most sophisticated investors in the world including US and International corporate and public pensions, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, family offices and major wealth platforms. The team is responsible for raising capital across Bridge’s investment verticals, managing communications with current and prospective investors, and marketing the firm and its strategies.

Compensation Details

The anticipated wage scale is $240,000-340,000 per year. The hired applicant will also be eligible for an annual performance based discretionary bonus. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc. Bridge Investment Group is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

Eligible employees are automatically enrolled at a 4% contribution rate. *The employee must be at least 21 years of age and have worked for the Company for at least 60 days.
  • Vacation Time: Employee will accrue 3.38 hours of paid time off per pay period for a total of 17 days per year.
  • 11 Paid Holidays per year.
  • Sick Time: You will accrue 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked with a cap of 48 hours.
  • Following six (6) months of employment at the Company, you will be eligible per birth, adoption or placement of a child for four (4) weeks of paid parental leave as the primary caregiver to the child or two weeks of paid parental leave as the secondary caregiver to the child. Following two years of employment at the Company, you will be eligible for twelve weeks of paid parental leave per birth, adoption, or placement of a child if you are the primary caregiver of the child.
  • Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $5,000 per year of pre-approved tuition expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of approved documentation. Repayment obligations may apply if employment terminates prior to 24 months.
