About the Job
The Senior Accountant at Radicle Health will manage billing and collections for our portfolio of products, as well as work cross functionally to assist with revenue recognition and reporting. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, maintains strong internal controls, and helps drive financial performance and stability. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Group Controller and will collaborate closely with the FP&A and Revenue Operations teams.
In This Role, You Will:
- Assist in the monthly and quarterly accounting close processes, including preparing analyses of financial information, preparing journal entries and maintaining supporting schedules
- Conduct period-over-period variance analyses and provide clear, conclusive explanations for material fluctuations
- Maintain balance sheet account reconciliations, including activity review and discrepancy resolution for key areas including prepaids, fixed assets, accrued compensation, general accrued expense accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Regularly collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to research, resolve and communicate findings on accounting-related questions regarding business transactions and other non-routine matters
- Oversee full cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payments
- Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships
- Monitor AP aging and resolve discrepancies or issues proactively
- Assist with financial reporting and support internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field required
- CPA license (or actively working towards one) is strongly preferred
- 4 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Ability to work under pressure and perform several tasks concurrently in a deadline driven environment
- Experience working with financial accounting software (e.g. Intacct, FloQast) is a plus
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills, including vLookups, pivot tables, etc.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and accounts payable processes
Other Information:
- Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000
- Location: Remote
