ClickHouse's Finance team is growing fast, and we're looking for a Senior Accountant who's ready to do meaningful work from day one. You’ll be hands-on in the close, dive into complex accounting areas, and contribute directly to building scalable processes that support our path to IPO.

What You'll Be Doing- Own and execute key components of the monthly close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting work papers, with a high bar for accuracy and completeness.
- Support preparation of US GAAP financial statements and audit-ready documentation.
- Identify gaps in existing processes and proactively design improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and control.
- Drive automation and systems improvements to reduce manual processes and improve data integrity.
- Coordinate external audit requests and be a reliable point of contact for auditor inquiries.
- Contribute to system implementations and IPO readiness work streams.
- Continuously improve close processes to increase speed, predictability, and accuracy as the company scales.
- 4–6 years of accounting experience, with a mix of public accounting and industry preferred.
- CPA license or active CPA candidate strongly preferred.
- Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and a demonstrated interest in technical accounting topics.
- Experience operating in a high-growth startup or technology company environment.
- Proven ability to take ownership and manage work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems, think critically, and implement practical solutions.
- High attention to detail while maintaining an understanding of the broader business context.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
For roles based in the United States, the typical starting salary range for this position is listed above. In certain locations, such as the San Francisco Bay Area and the New York City Metro Area, a premium market range may apply, as listed.
