Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this remote-first role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is a very fast-paced environment that involves problem solving and multi-tasking. Strong knowledge of NetSuite is an absolute requirement. 

Please note, while the position is remote, we are looking for someone located in the East Coast, United States. 

What You'll Do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across entities
• Handle foreign currency accounting, including remeasurement and translation
• Maintain and optimize accounting processes within NetSuite and become the go-to expert
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Support audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve accounting and reporting issues
• Identify process improvements and contribute to scalable accounting operations
• Assist with FP&A responsibilities

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with intercompany accounting and foreign currency transactions
• NetSuite experience required
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A self-starter who takes ownership and follows through
• Someone comfortable navigating ambiguity and improving processes
• A collaborative team player with strong communication skills

Assets (Nice to Have)

• Public accounting experience a plus, but not required
• Experience in a private equity–backed or SaaS environment
• CPA or CPA-eligible a plus
