About The Role:
This is a fully remote, multidisciplinary role combining elements of data analysis, business partnerships, accounting, and financial operations. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Accounting, you will be an integral member of the Finance team and take the lead in . Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting (40-60%):
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Manage all schedules
Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations, and identify anomalies
General Ledger Management (25%):
Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
Collaborate on the management of the Chart of Accounts to support organizational needs
Budgeting & Forecasting (10-20%):
Support CFO in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
Provide variance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement
Audits and Ad Hoc Projects (10-20%):
Collaborate with external auditors and advisors as needed to complete annual audit and tax filings
Identify and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Evaluate and implement best-in-class software and automation tools
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in accounting and bookkeeping
Proficiency in accounting (e.g. QuickBooks) and related software (AP automation, spend management, HRIS) as well as Excel/Google Sheets
Demonstrable understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
Extremely detail-oriented with a bias towards identifying and eliminating errors
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to independently develop workflows that enhance process efficiencies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a remote-first work environment
Capacity to prioritize and balance multiple tasks effectively
Big 4 audit experience or CPA a big plus

Salary:
Salary range is $85,000-$110,000 Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in the role is dependent upon many factors, such as location, transferable, or job related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The salary range may be subject to change.
