We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. A dynamic individual to oversee financial reporting and accounting processes, bringing precision to the forefront. A key focus of this role is building and implementing scalable financial procedures that ensure a seamless integration of the subsidiary into the parent company’s systems, policies, and reporting structure. You will be instrumental in establishing a strong financial foundation, enabling the business to scale efficiently and compliantly.
Financial Integration & Process Development- Lead the development and implementation of accounting procedures to align the subsidiary with the parent company’s financial operations.
- Design and document new workflows and controls that support integration of financial systems, processes, and reporting standards.
- Identify operational gaps and build solutions that ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across entities.
- Train subsidiary staff on new accounting policies, systems, and procedures.
- Prepare monthly GAAP compliant financial reports and ensure alignment with consolidated group reporting requirements.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals under the accrual basis of accounting.
- Process vendor invoices flawlessly, ensuring vendors are paid on time and in the preferred manner.
- Achieve a timely and audit-ready financial month-end close.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure a smooth annual audit process, lending your expertise in the preparation of audit schedules.
- Work alongside an external tax firm to diligently prepare and file tax returns, maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
- Collaborate with Product and Data teams to ensure new offerings are structured for smooth financial reporting.
- Handle accounting-related requests from stakeholders across the business.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis by providing accurate and timely financial data.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have 3+ years experience in audit or corporate accounting, preferably in the tech or startup realm.
- Be analytical, detail-oriented, and have problem-solving prowess.
- Enjoy the balance between the steady rhythm of recurring financial tasks and the excitement of tackling unique, one-of-a-kind accounting challenges.
- Have excellent communication skills and a knack for working with imperfect information.
- Have a strong sense of ownership for your work, ensuring a very high level of accuracy in all work and acting with velocity.
- Active CPA is a super plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle multi-entity reporting and subsidiary integrations is a plus.
TurboTenant has offices in Fort Collins and Denver, Colorado. Face-to-face time is an important aspect of the TurboTenant culture, and the ideal candidate for this role would be expected in either office once a week (more if preferred).

Compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $115,000 + equity. The actual compensation offered will be based on experience.
