About the role

Aurigo is seeking a results-driven Senior Account Executive to lead strategic public sector sales efforts across the Mountain & N. Plains region, covering Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, and South Dakota. This senior-level role offers a high-impact opportunity to drive multimillion-dollar enterprise SaaS deals that help public agencies modernize how they manage infrastructure and capital projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in enterprise SaaS sales with experience navigating public procurement cycles. A deep understanding of RFP processes, budget planning, and long-cycle government sales will be critical, along with the ability to engage C-level executives and IT decision makers. 

Location: Mountain/N. Plains Region

Work Mode: Remote 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Drive Public Sector Sales: Develop and execute sales strategies to expand Aurigo Essentials' presence in local governments.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract close, navigating government procurement.
  • Solution Selling & Demos: Conduct compelling product demos that highlight how Essentials streamlines operations and reduces costs for local governments.
  • Clearly position our solutions to address customer pain points.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with pre-sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive deals forward and ensure successful product adoption.
  • Reseller & Channel Engagement: Partner with resellers and channel partners to expand reach, drive new sales, and support joint sales efforts. 

Candidate Profile 

Required 

  • 3+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of selling to local government agencies.
  • Experience with solution selling, including conducting technical product demos. 

Preferred 

  • Background in engineering, computer science, or a technical field.
  • Experience working with resellers and channel partners in a sales capacity.
  • Familiarity with government budgeting processes and funding cycles.
