About the Opportunity:          
Cloud Security Services is seeking a Security Project Manager Consultant to support their Threat Management team and objectives by leading, coordinating, and delivering security project milestones for Response, Detection Engineering, Digital Forensics & Threat Intelligence, and Threat Informed Defense. This is a 6-month remote opportunity. 
Responsibilities:           

• Lead large scale cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders  
• Work with a global team across multiple time zones  
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders  
• Define project specifications and scope, comprehend technical documentation and drawings, establish a comprehensive project schedule with clear milestones, and coordinate with the team  
• Track project resources and progress, document, communicate, and work to remove project blockers, identify dependencies that may impact scope or project schedule, and pursue constant improvement on project sprints   
• Experience with security infrastructure, cloud architecture, and network security  
• Develop and maintain process for tracking financials for programs and projects to include planning, budgeting, tools, training, travel, and expenses  
• Develop presentations to communicate team accomplishments, project/program status, or other programmatic information  

 
Required Skills:       

• Have a minimum of 3+ years in project or program management with a focus on Cybersecurity  
• Experience working with Blue teams or Red Teams  
• Experience with Infosec Tools  
• Experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA or Confluence  
• Ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and thought leadership  
• Able to analyze large scale projects and work backwards to break it down into manageable milestones  
• Experience working at a company with a global footprint and a large enterprise environment  
• Are able to explain and write technical details to a non-technical audience  
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure  
• Ability to influence others and demonstrate leadership  
• Excellent attention to detail  
• Strong organizational skills 
• Excellent analytical skills  
• Collaborative team worker – both in person and virtually using WebEx or similar  
• Excellent documentation skills; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint  
• Ability to work as liaison between business and information security / information technology  
• Flexibility to accommodate working across different time zones  
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong spoken and written English  
• Business outcomes mindset  
• Solid balance of strategic thinking with detail orientation  
• Self-starter, ability to take initiative  
• Project management and organizational skills with attention to detail  

 
Preferred Skills:    

• Relevant industry security certifications such as CompTIA (Security+, A+), SANS (GSEC, GCPM), Project Management Institute (PMP, PgMP, CAPM), Scrum Alliance (Certified ScrumMaster)  
• Hands on engineering experience in IT, Networking, or Security  
• Hands on familiarity with cloud infrastructure environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)  
• Experience working on FedRAMP environments  
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53 Rev 4 or Rev 5 security controls, CIS Benchmark   

 
Required Education:    

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and work experience 
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, etc.
