Security Engineering Manager, Enterprise SecurityWhat you’ll do:

CoreWeave is the AI hyperscaler, operating infrastructure at a scale and level of complexity required to support the most demanding AI workloads in the world. In this role, you will lead and scale CoreWeave’s Enterprise Security engineering function, owning how identities, endpoints, enterprise services, and the extended workforce are secured across a global organization. This is a hands-on engineering leadership role, not a policy or governance function. You will define strategy and execution for identity security, zero trust access, SaaS and third party security, and endpoint hardening by building, operating, and evolving real systems. You will lead and grow a team of enterprise security engineers and partner closely with IT, Security Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Engineering to ensure enterprise security capabilities mature alongside the platform.

About the role:
  • CoreWeave delivers GPU accelerated infrastructure purpose built to support the most demanding AI and machine learning workloads in the world.
  • Our platform is designed for extreme performance, scale, and reliability, supporting frontier AI development across a rapidly expanding global footprint.
  • As CoreWeave continues to scale, securing the enterprise environment that supports our employees, contractors, and partners is a critical foundation for the business.
  • Enterprise Security at CoreWeave is an engineering discipline focused on building and operating systems, not writing policies.
  • The team owns the technical design, implementation, and operation of identity, endpoint, and enterprise access controls across the company.
  • This role is responsible for running, evolving, and operating CoreWeave’s Enterprise Security engineering program and team in close partnership with IT, Security Operations, Compliance, Legal, and other security stakeholders.
Core job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of CoreWeave’s Enterprise Security engineering program.
  • Lead and develop a team of enterprise security engineers through mentorship, technical direction, and performance management.
  • Design, build, and operate identity and access security systems, including IAM, SSO, authentication, and access lifecycle management.
  • Drive the implementation of zero trust access models through technical controls rather than policy enforcement alone.
  • Build and operate security controls for third party SaaS applications and enterprise services, including onboarding, integration, and continuous monitoring.
  • Partner closely with IT to harden endpoints, manage device security, and enable secure productivity for employees and contractors.
  • Collaborate with Security Operations on detection, investigation, and response for enterprise security incidents.
  • Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Privacy teams to translate requirements into durable, automated technical controls.
  • Define engineering standards, guardrails, and metrics that scale enterprise security capabilities with the organization.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for enterprise security risks, incidents, and complex cross functional issues.
Who you are:
  • You have 7 to 12 or more years of experience in enterprise security, identity security, or adjacent security engineering domains.
  • You have 3 to 5 or more years of experience leading or managing engineers, either as a people manager or technical leader with people responsibility.
  • You bring strong hands-on depth in identity and access management, including SSO, authentication protocols, and access lifecycle management.
  • You have experience designing and operating zero trust security architectures in modern enterprise environments.
  • You understand the security risks associated with SaaS platforms, third party integrations, and extended workforces.
  • You prefer building and operating systems over writing policy documents.
  • You are comfortable owning ambiguous problem spaces and turning them into clear technical plans and outcomes.
  • You communicate clearly and partner effectively across IT, Security, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering.
Preferred:
  • Experience with enterprise identity platforms such as Okta or Entra ID.
  • Experience securing productivity suites such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with endpoint security and mobile device management solutions such as Jamf or Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience securing hybrid or remote first enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation using languages such as Python or Go.
  • Experience supporting security audits or compliance frameworks through technical controls rather than manual processes.
Wondering if you’re a good fit?

We believe in investing in our people and value leaders who bring diverse experiences, strong judgment, and learning velocity, even if they are not a perfect match on every requirement.

  • You enjoy building and scaling security engineering systems, not policy programs.
  • You care deeply about developing people and creating healthy, high performing teams.
  • You are energized by enabling a fast growing business to move quickly and securely.
  • You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and making thoughtful tradeoffs.
  • You believe enterprise security should reduce risk while empowering employees to do their best work.
