Support the HR team with onboarding and off-boarding seasonal employees, ensuring a positive experience throughout their lifecycle.
The Role:
Minted is looking for a Seasonal HR Coordinator to support the Recruiting & HR team with onboarding and off-boarding activities for our Seasonal workforce. You will play an essential role in creating a positive experience through the employee lifecycle by working closely with Recruiting, HR, and cross-functional teams.
This role will report to the People Operations Generalist and work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team and Seasonal Recruiters. This is a temporary full-time role, starting in mid September through the end of December.
You will:
- Coordinate remote seasonal onboarding and off-boarding efforts partnering with the Recruiting & HR Team, Department Managers, and IT
- Process new hire and termination activities including communications over email and Slack, background checks, workflow updates, and HR systems updates
- Conduct virtual I-9 inspections with each new seasonal hire over video during pre-onboarding
- Lead the twice weekly remote new employee orientation meetings for seasonal hires
- Function as the primary contact for all onboarding HR questions before hire and during orientation, including troubleshooting onboarding issues for new hires
- Work closely with IT to ensure new hires have received all necessary equipment prior to start date
- File employee personnel information and audit HR systems to ensure we are accurately tracking candidates and employee information
You are:
- A people person. You are excited by creating a positive experience for employees and
- super comfortable appearing on camera and demonstrating leadership during orientations with large audiences
- A process thinker. You understand how systems work together and look for ways to make things better
- Detail-oriented. You always focus on accuracy and are able to spot and correct inconsistencies
You have:
- 1-2 years of experience with Recruiting or HR
- Experience using an applicant tracking system and HRIS (bonus points for experience with Lever or Paylocity)
- Proficient with Google Drive (Google docs, sheets, and slides)
Compensation:
The compensation range for the role applies to employment offers from Minted. Our employment offers fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range to allow for continued salary growth during your employment at Minted. The upper half of the range accommodates this growth and supports our intention to create an environment that encourages lasting relationships between Minted and our employees.
Geo Base Full Salary Range 1 - All non-SF CA, DC, NY - $27.59/hr - $34.49/hr
Geo Base Full Salary Range 2 - Includes CO, IL, MA, MD, NJ, OR, RI, TX, VT, VA, WA - $25.49/hr - $31.87/hr
Geo Base Full Salary Range 3 - Includes AL, AK, AZ, AR, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, NH, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, WI, WV, WY- $23.39/hr - $29.24/hr
