We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Retail Wireless Core Services team, focusing on the Customer Domain. The SDET will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our customer domain services. This role requires a strong understanding of software development principles, testing methodologies, and a passion for building robust and scalable test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for customer domain applications using industry best practices
• Collaborate with development and product teams to define requirements, identify testable scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle
• Execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing, documenting and tracking defects for timely resolution
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability, performance, and reliability, while continuously evaluating new testing tools and methodologies
• Mentor junior SDETs and contribute to the team's quality strategy and best practices across the organization

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience as an SDET, Software Quality Engineer, or similar role with a strong focus on test automation
• Proven experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
• Experience with testing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and test automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Pytest, Postman, JMeter)
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies, with experience designing and executing test strategies
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD integration for automated testing
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including ability to write complex queries for data validation
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,400.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
