We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master with 8-12+ years of experience in leading agile teams and driving high-performance delivery. The role is focused on coaching, facilitating, and enabling cross-functional teams to deliver impactful technology solutions. While GenAI/AI project exposure is a plus, the primary responsibility is to ensure agile excellence, continuous improvement, and team success.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and ensure adherence to agile principles.
- Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy backlog and improve prioritization.
- Remove impediments quickly, escalating when needed to keep delivery on track.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and transparency within the team.
- Track and report agile metrics (velocity, predictability, quality) to drive improvements.
- Coach team members and stakeholders in agile mindset and practices.
- Encourage continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable follow-ups.
- (Preferred) Support GenAI / AI/ML project teams by aligning sprint planning with unique challenges like data readiness, model training, or infrastructure bottlenecks.
- 8-12+ years of IT/software delivery experience with at least 5 years as a Scrum Master.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and proven success in scaling them.
- Demonstrated ability to improve team velocity, predictability, and overall delivery performance.
- Excellent facilitation, servant leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
- Hands-on with agile tools: JIRA, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- (Preferred) Exposure to GenAI / AI/ML projects and understanding of unique delivery challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (required)
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or Technology (preferred).
- Mandatory Certifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PSM II/III
- At least one Agile/Scaled Agile certification (e.g., SAFe, PMI-ACP, ICAgile)
- Consistent improvement in team velocity and predictability.
- Reduction in delivery impediments and blockers.
- Higher team engagement, morale, and retention.
- Alignment of delivery outcomes with business goals.
- Demonstrated continuous improvement across teams and processes.
