Job Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Installing, configuring, and upgrading SCCM/MECM hierarchy, site systems, and clients. High level of end point support (500,000+)
- Software Deployment: Packaging and deploying applications, software updates, and security patches (IAVM/AGM) to workstations and servers.
- Operating System Deployment (OSD):Imaging and provisioning machines, using PXE boot, task sequences, and managing drivers.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring systems meet compliance standards and generating reports on asset inventory and patch status.
- Troubleshooting: Analyzing logs (SMSProv.log, WUAHandler.log, etc.) to resolve client communication or deployment failures
Preferred/Required Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows PowerShell.
- Experience: Generally 3-7+ years of experience, often requiring a Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Microsoft certifications in Endpoint Administrator or Azure are often preferred.
- Cloud Integration: Increasing focus on managing devices through Microsoft Intune and hybrid setups
