Summary
Leader Bank is seeking an experienced service representative to support the Solutions Desk for the securities-based lending (SBL) business, which allows clients to borrow against the value of qualifying pledged securities in eligible brokerage account(s).
Responsibilities
- Understand the full SBL product offering and lifecycle, and help develop related solutions procedures and communications
- Provide day-to-day assistance to customers and financial representatives by coordinating across various departments
- Support the Credit Risk and Operations team by handling issues related to loan applications and existing lines of credit
- Perform outbound communications at the direction of other departments for purposes of obtaining additional client information
- Help with management and resolution of collateral maintenance calls
- Conduct oversight and reporting duties as required, including preparation of any regulatory or management reporting
- Present analysis and proposals around servicing improvements to senior leadership
- Additional responsibilities as needed to support a growing business line
Qualifications
- Must be a proactive self-starter, willing to take accountability and support the development and expansion of a fairly new business line
- Client-centric individual, capable of working in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise prudent judgment making quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in a client service role, with securities-based lending or other financial services experience strongly preferred
