Title of Position: SAP Support Specialist II   

Position Type: Full time; Exempt 

Air Squared Manufacturing, Inc. is an OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell and power generation industries.  Air Squared offers exciting career opportunities working on projects including NASA MOXIE, Leading Electric and Autonomous Vehicle OEM, DOE Clean Energy initiatives ranging from nuclear fusion and the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-e), and other cutting-edge projects.  

As part of the Air Squared SAP support organization, the SAP Level 2 Support Specialist provides functional and operational support for incidents and service requests that cannot be resolved by key users or Level 1 support. The position works closely with Air Squared business teams, process owners, key users, local IT, and the Core SAP team.

The role combines hands-on troubleshooting, functional analysis, user assistance, documentation, and coordination with Level 3 SAP experts. It is designed for a pragmatic professional who can understand end-to-end industrial processes and translate operational issues into reliable SAP solutions.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $103,000 / year, based on qualifications and experience

SAP Support Specialist II Job Responsibilities:

  • Own and process Level 2 SAP incidents and service requests, from qualification through resolution and closure, in line with agreed priorities and service levels, among industrial modules: PP / QM, MM / SD, WM / HU
  • Analyze issues, identify root causes, raise defects, propose safe workarounds, deploy and document corrective and curative actions across business process, master data, transactional data, authorization, interface, output, and configuration      dimensions
  • Support and Guide business teams in their knowledge of SAP: training, support documentation, user instructions     
  • Assist Key Users in the management of value-added features and improvements: requirement design, specification, test & validation, training and deployment, assistance and continuous improvement
  • Ensure a smooth relation between Air Squared business and SAP Core Team: key contact of both teams, reporting      & communication from and to Core Team, key local coordinator to steer collaborative activities 
  • Perform other tasks as required

SAP Support Specialist II Required Qualifications:

  • MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • 3-5 years of practical experience in SAP application support, key-user support, functional consulting, or an equivalent operational role.
  • Good understanding of integrated manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, sales, quality, and finance processes.
  • Structured troubleshooting skills and the ability to distinguish process, data, configuration, authorization, interface, and technical causes.
  • Ability to assess business impact, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly with both operational users and technical experts.
  • Customer-oriented mindset, ownership, reliability, and a strong focus on restoring business operations safely.
  • Ability to produce clear support documentation, test evidence, user instructions, and knowledge articles.
  • Comfort working within governance, change-control, segregation-of-duties, and information-security requirements.
  • Fluent professional English. French is an advantage 
  • Availability to provide occasional support outside standard business hours during critical operational periods and to travel when required.

SAP Support Specialist II Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience, in information systems, industrial engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting one or more of the following SAP areas: PP, WM, MM, SD
  • Experience with ticketing tools, incident and problem management, test management, and structured knowledge management.
  • Experience in a multi-site or international SAP Core Model environment is an advantage.
