The SAP MM Consultant will manage Source-to-Pay processes, lead SAP MM configurations, and support implementations, testing, and post-implementation.
This is a remote position.
KATBOTZ LLC is looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant with strong hands-on experience in the Source-to-Pay (S2P/STP) process. The ideal candidate will have in-depth functional and integration knowledge of SAP MM, procurement, and vendor management processes, and should be capable of leading or supporting SAP implementation and enhancement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support SAP MM (Materials Management) configurations, implementations, and enhancements.
- Manage end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes, including procurement, sourcing, purchase requisition, purchase order, goods receipt, and invoice verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in FI, SD, and Ariba for seamless process integration.
- Conduct requirement gathering, business process mapping, and gap analysis for S2P.
- Configure master data elements such as material master, vendor master, and purchasing info records.
- Prepare functional specifications for developments and coordinate with technical teams.
- Perform testing, validation, and user training for new functionalities or changes.
- Provide post-implementation support and resolve system issues in collaboration with business users.
- Participate in data migration and validation activities for procurement and inventory data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Information Technology.
- 6–10 years of experience as an SAP MM functional consultant.
- Proven experience in Source-to-Pay (S2P/STP) or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.Strong knowledge of business processes in procurement, vendor management, inventory, and logistics.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP MM configuration and customization.
- Good understanding of integration with SAP FI, SD, PP, and WM.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA MM (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead junior consultants.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP Ariba, SAP SRM, or other procurement solutions.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps for MM.
- SAP MM certification.
